Last Saturday, we supported the Lamar University Green Squad at their recycling day and, for the first time, were able to accept advanced recycling materials! ♻️ Overall, we collected more than 2 tons of various materials from over 130 vehicles. Advanced recycling complements traditional recycling methods and helps address plastic waste by enabling the breakdown of more kinds of plastic and converting them back into the molecules needed to make new products. Thank you to the Lamar University Green Squad, Lamar University President, Dr. Jaime Taylor and First Lady, Stacy Taylor, and Mayor Roy West for supporting recycle day!

Every year, ExxonMobil employees devote thousands of hours to community service. In recognition of National Food Bank Day, we would like to highlight our amazing teams who volunteer their time in our community to make a difference in the lives of those in need. ExxonMobil employee volunteers have helped the Southeast Texas Food Bank pack more than 20,000 pounds of food within the past year. Consider donating and volunteering at your local food bank. Together, we can end hunger in our community!

What is advanced recycling, you ask? ♻️ ExxonMobil's advanced recycling process converts plastic waste back into its molecular building blocks, which then become the raw material for making new plastics, transportation fuels and other products. Join us as we volunteer with Lamar University Green Squad this Saturday for recycling day! And don't forget, we will begin collecting advanced recycling materials this time! Please have items presorted.

Wherever ExxonMobil operates, we strive to make a positive contribution and work to support and strengthen the community. Today, we hosted an Employee Volunteer Involvement Fair. This event provided employees with the opportunity to meet representatives from several local non-profit organizations and sign up to support upcoming events. We are proud to support those serving on the front lines in our community. #DoingOurPart

Last week, over 40 of our employees volunteered their time to build beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). SHP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. Their mission is to provide a safe, comfortable place for every child to sleep, believing that a good night's sleep is essential for a child's health and well-being. #DoingOurPart #ExxonMobilBmt
