    During the filming of 'Prem Pratigya,' Ranjeet recalled a scene involving a handcart where Madhuri's character's father, depicted as poor, was supposed to pull the cart. The scene in question portrayed a molestation sequence on the handcart, prompting Madhuri's emotional response. Ranjeet revealed that Madhuri initially refused to perform the scene, expressing discomfort and shedding tears.

    Ranjeet reminisced about the incident, stating, "She started crying and refused to do the scene. I was unaware of the situation... some art director had told me. There was a Bengali art director. Our director was Bapu, he was from South. I used to have fun on the sets, like when I would tell my co-stars, 'darling thoda udhar muh karo mai change kar leta hu (face the other side, I'll change)'. I was not even used to going to the makeup room. Very normal and all that. I was accepted like that; otherwise, they would say I'm fake."

    He further elaborated on the atmosphere on set, sharing lighthearted moments and his normalcy in approaching his roles.

    The actor highlighted the industry's expectations, mentioning that such scenes were considered a part of their job. However, he also emphasized the importance of respecting actors' boundaries and ensuring a comfortable working environment.
