    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 5.5 points, or 0.03 per cent higher at 17,076.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a flat start on Thursday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, Vedanta:
    Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Vedanta, Ambuja Cements, Bajaj Holdings, Biocon, Mphasis, Varun Beverages, Procter & Gamble Hygene & Healthcare, Laurus Labs, Shriram Transport Company, IIFL Finance and Indiamart Intermesh are among the companies that will announce their March quarter results today.

    Bajaj Auto: The auto major reported a 2 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,526 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 2022, with sales in both domestic and export markets hit by weak demand and semiconductor shortage. The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,551 crore in the January-March quarter of 2020-21.

    Hindustan Unilever: The FMCG major reported a 5.34 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 2,307 crore for the fourth quarter ended in March 2022 despite flat volume growth due to unprecedented inflation. HUL has now become a Rs 50,000 crore turnover company.

    Oil and Natural Gas Corporation:
    The State-owned explorer said it has signed a pact with Norwegian energy giant Equinor ASA for collaboration in oil and gas exploration and production as well as clean energy projects. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked on April 26.

    BPCL, HPCL: The state-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) have bagged two licenses each for retailing CNG to automobiles and piped cooking gas to households in the latest bid round. Seven companies had put in 21 bids for city gas licences in five areas in states like Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

    KPIT Technologies: The auto industry-focused IT player reported a 53 per cent rise in its March 2022 quarter net at Rs 80.5 crore. The Pune-headquartered company has closed FY22 with an 87 per cent jump in its post-tax profit, at Rs 276.2 crore, on the back of a 19.48 per cent growth in revenues.

    TV18 Broacast: Bodhi Tree Systems, an investment venture of James Murdoch's Lupa Systems and Uday Shankar, ex-Chairman of Star and Disney India, will invest Rs 13,500 crore in broadcaster Viacom18 as part of a tripartite partnership with billionaire Mukesh Ambani's Reliance, to form one of the largest TV and digital streaming firms in India.

    Indian Hotels Company: The Tata group hospitality firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 71.57 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2022. The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 97.72 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

    HDFC Asset Management Company: The mutual fund company reported an 8.7 per cent growth in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 343.55 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2022. In comparison, the company had posted a PAT of Rs 316.08 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal.

    Indian Energy Exchange: The energy bourse posted a rise of over 45 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 88.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2022, compared to the year-ago period, mainly on the back of higher revenues. The consolidated net profit of the company was Rs 60.85 crore in the quarter ended on March 31, 2021.

    Syngene International: The contract manufacturing services firm said its profit after tax (PAT), before accounting for exceptional items, increased by 7 per cent to Rs 148 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31. The company had reported a PAT of Rs 138 crore in the January-March period of 2020-21.

    Mahindra Lifespace Developers: The real estate firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 154.5 crore for the last fiscal. It had posted a net loss of Rs 71.7 crore in the preceding fiscal. Its consolidated total income stood at Rs 408.2 crore in the last fiscal against Rs 187.8 crore FY21.

    Trent: The Tata group retail firm reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 20.87 crore for the fourth quarter ended in March 2022. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.44 crore in the January-March quarter a year ago.

    Infobeans: The IT company reported a 74 per cent increase in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 17.48 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31. The company had posted Rs 10 crore profit after (PAT) in the year-ago period.
