Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 37.91 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 18.16 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 13.63 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 9.38 crore), JP Associates(numbers of share traded: 8.66 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.23 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 6.76 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.99 crore), NBCC (numbers of share traded: 5.56 crore) and Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 4.51 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 121.5 points up at 19811.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 393.69 points at 66473.05.

On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.56 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) and Coal India Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
