Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 64.47 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 35.29 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 14.94 crore), NBCC (numbers of share traded: 14.46 crore), Davangere Sugar(numbers of share traded: 9.26 crore), HUDCO(numbers of share traded: 9.03 crore), Inox Wind Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 8.44 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 8.18 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 8.12 crore) and IRB Infra Dev.(numbers of share traded: 7.91 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 15.66 points up at 24302.15, while BSE Sensex ended up 62.87 points at 80049.67.

On the other hand, HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.10 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.47 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
