Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.29 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.58 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.80 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.56 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.78 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 3.44 crore), ITI Ltd(numbers of share traded: 3.24 crore), MTNL(numbers of share traded: 3.12 crore), HFCL(numbers of share traded: 3.06 crore) and Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 2.97 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 157.7 points down at 16058.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 508.62 points at 53886.61.

On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 3.05 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.61 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.97 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
