Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 63.82 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 33.31 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.21 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 11.59 crore), Orient Green Pwr(numbers of share traded: 9.20 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.58 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 8.40 crore), Shree Ren Sug(numbers of share traded: 8.33 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 7.32 crore) and Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.10 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 151.45 points up at 18420.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 468.38 points at 61806.19.

On the other hand, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.58 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.75 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.66 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
