Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kingfa Science Tech, Country Club, D-Link(India), Diamines Chem and G M Breweries, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 154.16 points to 24278.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Akme Fintrade(India, GIR Natureview, IndInfravit Trust, 3rd Rock MultiMedia and Future Supply Chain, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 39 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Tata Consumer, Dr. Reddys and Shriram Finance were among top gainers, while TCS, Hindalco, RIL, Tata Motors and UltraTech Cem. traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 511.07 points up at 79952.52 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Packaging, Paper and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was visible in Gas & Petroleum, Airlines, Tobacco, Beverages - Alcoholic and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors.
