Tata Elxsi shares rise 0.12% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Tata Elxsi Ltd. traded at Rs 7007.75 on BSE at 12:48PM (IST) on Friday, up 0.12 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 6406.6 and a high of Rs 9191.1.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 7,798 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:48PM (IST).

The stock of Tata Elxsi Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 43625.58 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 55.05, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 19.34. Return on equity (ROE) was at 31.61 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 288 stocks traded in the green, while 213 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 43.92 per cent in the Tata Elxsi Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 14.55 per cent and 6.04 per cent, respectively.
