    Avenue Supermart shares drop 0.24% as Sensex rises

    Shares of the Avenue Supermarts Ltd. traded at Rs 4780.7 on BSE at 01:24PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.24 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 3493.05 and a high of Rs 5220.0.

    Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

    At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 122.63 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 38.97 per share and 15.76 times its book value, as per BSE data.

    A total of 4,174 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:24PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 311021.12 crore and is part of the Supermarkets industry.

    The scrip has been an outperformer , up 31.75 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 28.06 per cent gain in Sensex.

    During the day, the stock moved between Rs 4801.25 and Rs 4760.0.

    Promoter/FII Holding
    Promoters held 74.65 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Avenue Supermarts Ltd. stood at 8.26 per cent and 7.29 per cent, respectively.
