MG Gloster Snowstorm, Desertstorm on-road prices in top cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and more

MG Motor India recently launched the MG Gloster Snowstorm and Desertstorm editions in the Indian market priced at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom). With the launch of two new editions, totally the Gloster Storm lineup now has three editions - Blackstorm, Snowstorm and Desertstorm. All three editions get cosmetic upgrades and additional features meanwhile mechanically it remains the same.

Talking about the newly launched MG Gloster Snowstorm and Desertstorm, both editions as mentioned before only get cosmetic tweaks. The Snowstorm as the name suggests gets a white paint job with black elements on the front grille, spoiler, alloy wheels, wing mirrors, foglamp and fender garnish. It also gets a few red finishes on the front fender, wing mirrors and even headlamps.

Talking about the Desertstorm, it’s finished in a golden colour scheme with the same black and red accents as seen on the snowstorm. Moving inside, both editions get all-black interiors but the snowstorm gets red-stitching on the steering wheel and is only offered with a six-seater configuration. Whereas the Desertstorm is offered with white stitching and in both six- and seven-seat configurations.

Talking about the powertrain, both editions are powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel which puts out 163hp, 375Nm in the 4x2 form, and 218hp, 480Nm in 4x4 models. As mentioned before, both editions are priced at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Below are the on-road prices of both editions in top cities of India. Let’s start with Bengaluru, the SUV costs Rs 55 lakh. In Delhi the SUV costs 51.7 lakh, in Mumbai it costs Rs 52.8 lakh, in Chennai it costs Rs 55 lakh, in Hyderabad the SUV costs Rs 54.2 lakh, in Kolkata it costs 48.7 lakh, in Kochi it costs 55.9 lakh, in Lucknow it costs 50.6 lakh, in Jaipur the SUV costs 52.2 lakh, in Ahmedabad the SUV costs 48.9 lakh and in Indore, the SUV costs 53.1 lakh
