Why is Rahul Gandhi silent on Stalin’s Sanatan Dharma barb, asks VD Sharma

Why is Rahul Gandhi silent on Stalin’s Sanatan Dharma barb, asks VD Sharma
Bhopal: State BJP president VD Sharma on Friday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, a day before his visit to the state.
Former AICC president Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting in Kalapeepal constituency in Shajapur district on Saturday. This public meeting will be part of the Congress party’s ongoing Jan Aakrosh Yatra against the BJP’s 18-years alleged misrule.
“We welcome Rahul Gandhi to the state.
But we also want to remind him of the promises made before the 2018 assembly elections,” VD Sharma said, speaking to reporters on Friday afternoon. “Rahul Gandhi had promised waiver of agricultural loans taken by farmers up to Rs 2 lakh. He also promised an unemployment allowance of Rs 4,000 every month and LPG cooking cylinders that would cost Rs 100 less,” the state BJP chief claimed.
“The Congress government had also promised to give Rs 51,000 as grant to poor couple after their marriage. All the promises that Rahul Gandhi made and claimed he would change the chief minister if not implemented in ten days, proved to be false. Farmers of Madhya Pradesh became defaulter waiting for the Congress’ loan waiver,” Sharma alleged. He said that the BJP state government under chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a budgetary provision of Rs 2200 crore to pay-off the interest burden on farm loans.
“What happened to the Congress’ promise of giving unemployment allowance? Not a single beneficiary received the promised Rs 4000 per month. The Kamal Nath government returned two lakh houses under the Pradhan mantra Awas Yojana because the state did not have the matching grants. Two lakh poor were denied their homes by the Congress government,” he said.
VD Sharma alleged that during the 15-month Congress government in the state, Rahul Gandhi did not bother to find-out how the regime was working. “A cabinet minister of the Nath government accused Digvijaya Singh of running the state from behind the curtains.

The state BJP president further asked why Rahul Gandhi has been silent after DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statement on Sanatan Dharma. “Why is there no clarification from Rahul Gandhi, the 9.5 crore people of this state want to know,” Sharma said. “Madhya Pradesh also wants Rahul Gandhi to say why he humiliates and defames the country whenever he goes abroad,” he added.
