NEW DELHI: Supriya Sule of Nationalist Congress Party(SCP) won by a margin of 1,58,333 votes against NCP's Sunetra Pawar.
Baramati is one of the 48 constituencies in the Pune district of
Maharashtra, comprising six assembly segments. This high-profile seat saw polling on May 7 in the third phase. In a notable Pawar vs. Pawar battle, voter turnout was 59.50 per cent, slightly lower than the 60 per cent turnout in 2019.
Sharad Pawar-led NCP's candidate Supriya Sule is trailing from Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, while her relative Sunetra Pawar leading in early trends.
Sunetra Pawar, wife of Ajit Pawar, is making her political debut from the Baramati seat, challenging the incumbent MP and her sister-in-law, Supriya Sule. Supriya Sule has represented this seat since 2009, following her father Sharad Pawar, who held the seat from 1996.
