MUMBAI: Senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, who underwent an emergency angioplasty on September 26, was discharged from hospital on Saturday.
The 54-year-old former Union minister was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Bandra Reclamation, after he complained of chest pain and high blood pressure. TNN

Bhati, who is close to former CM Vasundhara Raje, lost the election in 2013 after serving as an MLA for seven consecutive terms. He returned to the party in the presence of BJP state president CP Joshi, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, and party in-charge Arun Singh.
