MUMBAI: A viral video on X showed Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon being pushed around by a group of people outside her Bandra home on Saturday night. While a man in the video claimed her driver had rammed her car into his mother, police said the claim was not supported by any evidence. In the video, a woman also accused the actor's driver of assault, but police said both sides refused to file a formal complaint.

Khar police recorded statements of both sides and sent all to a public hospital for a medical examination. No injuries were reported. Zonal DCP Raj Tilak Roushan said the car did not hit anyone.
According to police, Tandon was returning to her Bandra home in her car, which was being steered by her driver. CCTV footage showed the driver reversing the car while manoeuvring it into her home. A group of women passing by reportedly asked him to be careful, saying he could have hit someone.
Police said a spat broke out between the driver and the women. Later, Tandon stepped out of her home to come to the driver's rescue. By then, the women's relatives had gathered. In the clip, the relatives were heard alleging that the driver hit some of the women. One of the women was heard saying she had a nosebleed. Tandon tried to calm them down but was pushed around. She was heard saying, "Don't hit me."
Tandon did not respond to texts for a comment.
