CM Nitish Kumar launches building projects worth ₹2,876cr

PATNA: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday launched 242 building projects worth Rs 2,876 crore through remote control from the 'Sankalp' hall at his official residence here.
All these building projects were executed either by the building construction department (BCD) or the Bihar State Building Construction Corporation.
Of the total projects, 132 buildings worth Rs 1,555 crore were inaugurated, while the foundation was laid for the remaining 110 projects worth Rs 1,321 crore.
With this mega inauguration event, the BCD met several milestones.
"With the inauguration of the new building of the Buxar Engineering College, the department made 100% achievement by constructing the buildings of 31 engineering colleges across the state under the chief minister's 'Saat Nischay' scheme," a BCD official said while speaking at the inaugural event.
