Gujarati star Deeksha Joshi is all set to make a significant mark in Bollywood with her role in the highly anticipated film ‘Dhadak 2’. The makers have unveiled both the release date and the motion poster, generating excitement among fans and film enthusiasts.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Deeksha Joshi shared the motion poster along with a heartfelt note.
"Not all love stories are simple. Presenting Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi & Triptii Dimri. Directed by Shazia Iqbal. #Dhadak2 in cinemas 22nd November 2024," she wrote. Deeksha expressed her gratitude and joy for being part of the project, adding, "Had the opportunity to work with the kindest hearts 🥹✨a project too close to my heart!"

‘Dhadak 2’ stars Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles, portraying characters from different societal backgrounds. The film tackles the pressing issue of caste-based discrimination, adding depth and social relevance to its narrative. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie promises to bring a fresh perspective and compelling storytelling to the big screen.
The first installment of the ‘Dhadak’ franchise marked the Bollywood debut of Janhvi Kapoor, who starred alongside Ishaan Khatter. The original film was an adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat,’ directed by Nagraj Manjule. ‘Dhadak’ garnered significant attention and praise for its portrayal of young love against the backdrop of societal issues.
