Did you know Naga Shaurya was not the first choice for 'Varudu Kaavalenu'?

Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma-starrer 'Varudu Kaavalenu' is all set to hit the screens on October 29. Ahead of the film release, director Lakshmi Sowjanya during an interview made an interesting revelation about the role of Naga Shaurya in the film.
Lakshmi Sowjanya said that Naga Shaurya was not the first choice for the role of Akash. They had thought of casting Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for the lead role. But things didn’t materialize.So, they subsequently decided to cast Naga Shaurya, who fitted the bill perfectly. We’ll have to wait and see how Shaurya nails the character onscreen. Speaking of 'Varudu Kaavalenu,' the film marks the directorial debut of Lakshmi Sowjanya and also marks the first time collaboration between Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma. Bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under his banner Sithara Entertainments, the technical team includes Patchipulusu Vamsi and Vishnu Sarma as the DOPs, Navin Nooli as the editor, and AS Prakash as the art director. The rest of the cast includes Murli Sharma, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Vennela Kishore, Nadia Moidu, Mahesh Achanta, Ananth, Arjun Kalyan, Harshavardhan, Praveen and Kireeti.
