Dance Bangla Dance 12: Soumili Ghosh Biswas, Sweta Bhattacharya and other artists to set the stage on fire

Reality show ‘Dance Bangla Dance’, which is currently airing its 12th season, is having a successful inning on Bengali TV. The reality show brought back Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty as the super judge after almost a decade and welcomed some very popular artists as the judges that includes Mouni Roy, Subhashree Ganguly, Srabanti Chatterjee. Tolly star Ankush Hazra continues to host the show just like the previous season.That’s not all, the on-going edition featured several other surprise elements including Pantabhatey Kundu aka Dipanwita Kundu, who is all grown up now, and some remarkably talented guests. In almost every episode, the makers try to add something new to raise the entertainment quotient and the upcoming episodes won’t be an exception.
The stage is all set to welcome some of the very popular artists of Bengali small screen who are good dancers too. Sweta Bhattacharya, Dhrubo Sarkar, John Bhattacharya, Soumili Ghosh Biswas, Oindrila Saha, John Bhattacharya and Gouri Elo’s Mohana Maity, who was a part of last year’s Dance Bangla Dance, will be seen setting the stage ablaze with their groovy dance moves. They will team up with the existing contestants Rishita, Disha, Prithviraj and others for the special episode.
Soumili is a renowned dancer who trains students too. Interestingly, in the previous season, she was one of the mentors. The actress was all nostalgic after coming back to the same set during the shoot. She will perform an Indian dance on the stage. John, who is a self-taught dancer and always considered Michael Jackson as his idol, will leave the audience mesmerised by his Hiphop style.
His duet with young contestant Prithviraj simply left the judges and Mahaguru grooved. The latter joined them on the stage too. Sweta too is a trained dancer and it’s not a secret. The actress impressed the audience with her performance several times earlier and this time on the stage of Dance Bangla Dance, her duet with the contestant will yet again steal the show. Not many are aware about Neil’s passion for dance. The actor, who is paired opposite Tanni Laha Roy in TV show ‘Mithai’, is a good dancer too. Oindrila Saha was a contestant of Dance Bangla Dance Junior and later used to host the show. Now, she is a popular TV actress. For Mohana, on the other hand, it was an extremely nostalgic moment. She started her career with the same show just a year back and then bagged the lead role in ‘Gouri Elo’. Now she is a household name.
Besides the performances by the special guests, Ankush and Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty’s jugalbandi on the stage would be yet another thing to look forward to.
