She used to work at PwC as Halter's employment lawyer but she wanted to step into the start-up world! Dani will be partnering with senior leaders to address core priorities across the business and working on special projects as we scale globally! 👏 We asked Dani a couple of questions to get to know her a bit better.... Jasmine will be responsible for the initial part of the customer’s deployment process with Halter. She will be playing a key part in our customer’s onboarding experience 👏 Coming from LincolnUniversity NZ, Jasmine loves working with fun, positive people in a healthy environment, doing meaningful work, and seeing positive results from people. Congratulations, Sir Peter Beck. I’ve known Pete for the last 9 years. He’s been a mentor, manager, director, investor, supporter, critic and friend. The first time I met Pete, he wasn’t talking rockets. He was giving advice to students wanting to start companies. When I was an employee at Rocket Lab, we had endless work to do preparing for the first launch, yet he still found time to help me with a side project called ‘Halter’. Today, he squeezes Halter board meetings around earning calls and answers my phone calls no matter the time. It’s safe to say that no matter what, over the past 9 years, he’s always been there, and his actions show his commitment louder than words ever could. Best of all, I know I’m one of many founders, investors and operators in NZ who could echo these words. Lots of companies have been started by people out of Rocket Lab, inspired and role-modelled by the path Pete has forged. Before Rocket Lab and Pete, I didn’t even know what a start-up was… I’m now 7 years into Halter and now there’s a whole cohort of ex-Halter people that have gone on to start companies themselves, a cycle that’s bound to repeat itself time and time again. That’s the legacy that Pete has built. Pete, thank you for everything you’ve done for Halter and for entrepreneurs and innovators across New Zealand. I’ll be forever grateful, and there’s nothing like a King’s honour to show that NZ as an entire country is grateful too.
