    Tracking gains from global peers, Indian benchmark equity indices Nifty50 and Sensex opened at fresh record highs on Tuesday, led by IT stocks.

    The BSE Sensex was trading 208 points, or 0.26%, higher at 77,196. The Nifty50 was up 69 points, or 0.30%, trading at 23,534 around 9:21 am.
