Sensex rises 185 pts, Nifty50 tops 15,800; Maruti up 2%, Infosys 1%
NEW DELHI: Domestic equity benchmarks started Wednesday's session on a strong note amid broad-based gains across sectors.The S&P BSE Sensex index rose as much as 214 points to touch 52,763.77 in the first few minutes of trade, and the broader NSE Nifty50 benchmark climbed to as high as 15,812.55, up 64 points from its previous close.Opening Bell: Sensex rises 185 pts, Nifty50 tops 15,800; Maruti up 2%, Infosys 1%
