    Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

    In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 308.37 points up at 77301.14 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, Chandra Bhagat Pharm(down 13.07 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 10.71 per cent), Karnavati Finance(down 10.54 per cent), United Credit(down 9.99 per cent) and Sonalis Consumer Pro(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 92.31 points up at 23557.9.

    On the BSE, Alfavision Over, Purple Finance, Vijay Textiles, Tirupati Tyres and PAE Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Windsor Machine, JNK India, Paras Defence, Sharda Ispat and Poddar Pigments touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
