Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: India Cements(Rs. 2544.19 crore), UltraTech Cem.(Rs. 1437.16 crore), RIL(Rs. 1371.29 crore), GRSE(Rs. 980.65 crore), Titagarh Wagons(Rs. 947.97 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 899.77 crore), Indian Renewable(Rs. 815.56 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 772.99 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 676.52 crore) and Indus Towers(Rs. 670.72 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:29AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 98.3 points up at 23967.1, while BSE Sensex was up 340.19 points at 79014.44 as of 10:29AM(IST)on June 27.

In the Nifty index, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 4.44 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.59 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.31 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent) were among the top losers.
