Cops bust rave party, arrest 25

LUDHIANA: Division number 2 police on Friday night conducted a raid at hotel Pukhraj on Brown road and arrested 25 persons, including seven women. Police officials alleged that the accused were consuming liquor for which the hotel did not have a license and were also involved in strip dancing at the banquet hall of the hotel. Police claimed that the city-based businessmen had called women from Maharashtra and Delhi.
The arrested accused have been identified as hotel manager Sanjeev Jaiswal, besides 20 businessmen and seven women, including one from Thane, Maharashtra, one from Faridabad, Haryana and others from Delhi.
Inspector Arshpreet Kaur Grewal, SHO, Division number 2 police said that they received a tip-off about a rave party going on at Pukhraj hotel and conducted a raid. tnn
