Exclusive: Aindrita Ray's father shares an update on Diganth's health

Actor Diganth Manchale is reported to have sustained serious injuries during an adventure activity in Goa, where he was on a trip with his wife and actress Aindrita Ray. As per reports, the actor is being shifted to Bangalore right now in a specially chartered aircraft for treatment .
Sharing an update on his health, Aindrita's father said, "Yesterday, in Goa, he was doing some sports activity.He was on the trampoline and suddenly he fell on his back. It's a bit serious (injury) as there is a dislocation of the cervical vertebra. His fingers started numbing and since they didn't have the proper equipment (to treat him) they thought they will shift him to Bangalore. But it was not advisable to shift him to Bangalore in this condition. I believe there was some arrangement by the Goa government and they arranged special aircraft for them. They are now on the way to Bangalore right now. They will land at the HAL airport and straight away shift him to Manipal. they will see the condition and most probably do the surgery today itself or tomorrow morning."

Diganth is said to be an adventure junkie and is a regular surfer, scuba diver, rock climber and cyclist. The actor's social media pages often show pictures of him on escapades in the wild with his group of friends. The actor usually uses the break between his multiple shoot schedules to unwind in nature with these adventure activities.
Diganth is also known to be a fighter, where he has previously fought through a freak injury that happened on the set of one of his Bollywood films in London. The actor, who was nearly blinded by the freak accident on his set while filming, has overcome the same and has since been regularly partaking in adventure activities.
