‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ trailer: Tovino Thomas starrer is a solid and riveting investigative thriller

Tovino Thomas is all set for his first release of the year - ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’. The film is set to hit the big screens on February 9, and the makers have launched the much-anticipated trailer. They unveiled the trailer on Saturday, January 27, evening, in an event, and launched it on Sunday evening on YouTube.
The trailer is all about a police officer determined to unfold the mystery behind a woman’s death.From reopening the case, to going above and beyond to find the truth.

Directed by Darwin Kuriakose, ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ is scripted by Jinu V Abraham. The film features Tovino Thomas in the lead role. ‘Anweshippin Kandethum’ also has actors Siddique, Indrans, Shammy Thilakan, Baburaj, Thankam-fame Vineeth Thattil, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam-fame Ramya Suvi, Harisree Ashokan and Rahul Rajagopal among others in supporting roles.

Speaking to ETimes earlier, the makers said, “It’s an investigative thriller. I would say it is more in the true detective kind of space than anything else. The film follows the quest of a single police officer striving to solve a case and all the factors that try to dissolve him during that journey. It’s more realistic, which we believe makes it compelling. The Malayali audience also enjoys the thriller genre.”
