Actors Soumitrisha Kundoo, Tonni Laha Roy, Diya Mukherjee and others have a blast

Team ‘Mithai’ seems to be still in a party mood. The cast and crew, who enjoyed a gala celebration after the show completed 500 episodes, are still enjoying the celebratory mood it seems. The members of the big fat happy Modak family enjoyed an extended celebratory mood outside the set recently. Actors Swagata Basu, Biswajit Chakraborty, Soumitrisha Kundoo, Tonni Laha Roy, Arpita Mukehree, and Diya Mukherjee were spotted at a popular café in the city having a good time together.The co-stars enjoyed long adda to rejuvenate themselves. From enjoying coffee together to playing indoor games, Modak family had a gala time at a popular café in the city.
‘Mithai’, starring Soumitrisha and Adrit Roy as the lead pair, is one of the most popular shows on Bengali television. The family-drama, which once managed to dominate the TRP charts for a long time, is popular among the audience for its simple story that revolves around Modak family. Just like how it is shown in the reel life, the actors associated with the show, are always ahead when it comes to having fun in real-life too. In between the shoot, the artists of the show keep enjoying themselves. The celebration party after 500 crossing episodes wasn’t an exception either. Entire team enjoyed a party mood on the set followed by cake cutting and a grand feast together. The artists who have become more than a family, can be often seen hanging out together on their off-days too. Yesterday was one of such instances.
Soumitrisha plays the titular role in the show. Senior artists Biswajit and Swagata play Siddheshwar and Sushma Modak’s characters and Aripta plays their reel daughter. Tonni, on the other hand, essays a negative role while Diya is essaying Adrit’s sister in ‘Mithai’.
