The Association of Television Media Artists, popularly known as ATMA is known for the welfare activities of the Malayalam television fraternity. Recently, the association had its 18th annual meetup and many initiatives were kickstarted by the team.
Along with the get-together of 300 plus artists, ATMA has also launched a private networking app in the annual meet.
As per the updates, the app will help the 600 members of the association to communicate with each other just like in a social media networking app. During the function, actor-politician Ganesh Kumar introduced the app to the members and expressed his wishes for the initiative.

"I think it is the first time that an association is coming up with such an initiative. The network is expected to enhance the communication between the members. As per the idea initiated by actor Kishor Satya, the app will have different features to build strong bonds among the members. Though the app is currently accessible only to the association members, soon we expect to open it for the public too," Actor and ATMA General Secretary Dinesh Panicker said.
Along with the presentation of the app, the get-together also felicitated members for their achievements in the past year. The Annual meeting also conducted a short counseling session for the artists to educate them about the importance of mental health.
