McDuffie County is located within the Toombs Judicial Circuit of the Superior Court Tenth District.

In addition to the Superior Court the people of McDuffie County are served by a Probate Court, a Juvenile Court, a Magistrate Court and a Municipal Court.

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia has jurisdiction in McDuffie County. Appeals from the Southern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
