Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 19.94 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.67 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.05 crore), FCS Software(numbers of share traded: 4.36 crore), Seacoast Shipping(numbers of share traded: 3.64 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 3.44 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 3.44 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 2.79 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 2.18 crore) and NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 2.02 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 202.91 points up at 22097.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 759.49 points at 73327.94.

On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 3.64 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
