Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 33.36 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 8.12 crore), Godha Cabcon & Insul(number of shares traded: 2.92 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 2.66 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 2.11 crore), Indian Renewable(number of shares traded: 1.92 crore), Motherson Sumi(number of shares traded: 1.84 crore), HFCL(number of shares traded: 1.76 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 1.60 crore) and Alok Industries(number of shares traded: 1.27 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 77.16 points up at 24087.75, while BSE Sensex was up 217.16 points at 79249.89 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 2.82 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While NTPC Ltd.(down 1.97 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.84 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.70 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
