Here's what happened when Sunny Leone stepped in Bengaluru

While her fans in Kerala thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of Sunny Leone, the actress reportedly entered the city of Bengaluru amidst heavy security. Reason: Members of a fringe group, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene (KRVYS) had threatened to disrupt the event if she performed in the city.
Reports state that the reason this pro-Kannada outfit was opposing her performance is that they believed that it would spoil the culture of the city.
They were also opposing the fact that Sunny was playing the lead role of 'Veera Mahadevi', a multi-lingual period drama portraying a warrior.
The venue was surrounded by 200 policemen in civil dress. However, the agitation was called off by the group. Giving reasons for calling off the agitation, KRVYS state president R Harish reportedly said that they wanted a peaceful agitation, but learnt that their rival group was planning to create a stir and defame them.
Guess, all is well that ends well for Sunny, who had expressed in an interview about wanting to go beyond item songs and do some substantial roles.
