Nikita Dutta on her Marathi debut: It's a good time to explore different languages in cinema - Exclusive
Nikita Dutta who has been a part of various TV shows, films and web projects, is all set to venture into Marathi cinema. She will be seen playing a lead in Navjyot Bandiwadekar's 'Gharat Ganpati'.

She took to her social media account to announce her debut film. Sharing the teaser video, she wrote, "Thrilled to share my first-ever Marathi film, a genre I have cherished over the years, (sic)."
Excited to step into a new arena, Nidhi says, ""It's a good time to explore different languages and genres in cinema.
And audiences have become more open to watching films various languages. I have always enjoyed watching family entertainers, so I am quite thrilled to be a part of one, with this project. This is another strong reason why I said yes to the film."
The actress will also mouthing dialogues in Marathi. She elaborates, "As an actor I have constantly been looking for something that will help me push my boundaries, and take me out of comfort zone. And speaking in a new language (Marathi) in the film will help me do that."
Nikita is paired opposite Bhushan Pradhan in the film, which is touted to be a family entertainer. Ashvini Bhave and Ajinkkya Deo are also playing pivotal roles.
