The makers of ‘Maa’ have announced a new release date for the movie; it will be hitting the big screens on May 6, 2022.

Before the pandemic pushed on the pause button, Gippy Grewal, Babbal Rai, and Divya Dutta were all set to release their much movie ‘Maa’ in 2020. However, the first wave of Covid led to a nationwide lockdown, and the envelope was pushed forward. Then last year the makers tried to release the movie on Mothers Day, but theatres got shut down again. Nevertheless, as they say, the third time is a charm, the makers of ‘Maa’ have announced a new release date for the movie; it will be hitting the big screens on May 6, 2022.
In order to pay a tribute to all the mothers, who sacrifice their everything unconditionally just to raise their childer, the movie will be released on the Friday falling before Mothers Day.

Talking about the film, it is an emotional drama, wherein Divya Dutta will be seen playing the role of a mother, while reportedly Gippy Grewal and Babbal Rai will play her sons. Gippy as shown in the picture itself will be portraying the character of a farmer, whereas Babbal Rai for the very first time will be seen essaying the role of a sportsperson. In order to get into the right shape for the role, Babbal Rai did an intense workout. He not only cut down extra inches but got chiseled abs for his role.

Further, opposite Babbal Rai, Aarushi Sharma will be seen in a pivotal role, and many other renowned actors like Raghveer Boli, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and others will be seen in important parts as well.
Last but not least, written by Rana Ranbir, the movie has been helmed by Baljit Singh Deo.
