Hiphop Adhi on working with his idol Yuvan Shankar Raja

A few days ago it was announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja has crooned a song for Hiphop Adhi's upcoming film, Anbarivu. The song, Arakkiye, in Yuvan's voice has gone viral and is now streaming on all platforms. Yuvan, who has sung for many composers, has sung for the first time for Adhi.
Adhi shared a picture with Yuvan on his social media profile and thanked him for singing in his film. In an emotional post, Adhi said, "I was his number one fan when I was a kid.Now I'm making songs with him - that's success kids. A few years back when I rapped these lines for him, it was like a dream come true for me. But now, DAMN!!! he sang for me. This is beyond dreams. Thank you @itsyuvan anna. #arakkiye from #anbarivu already streaming on all platforms (sic)."

Directed by Aswin Raam, this film has Adhi, Kashmira Paradeshi, Napolean, Vidaarth, and Asha Sharath in lead roles. Said to be a rural entertainer, the film will be released on January 7, 2022.
