Bhaiyya Ji Box Office: Manoj Bajpayee starrer crosses Rs 6 crore mark

Manoj Bajpayee is one of the finest actors in the country, having showcased his talent in films like Satya, Raajneeti, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Gulmohar, and The Family Man series. His latest film, Bhaiyya Ji, is particularly special, as it marks his 100th film and introduces his wife, Shabana Raza Bajpayee, as a producer. The film also marks his second collaboration with Apoorv Singh Karki, together they delivered last year’s very successful film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.

The film had a very underwhelming response over the weekend as it collected about Rs 4.95 crore ( Friday: Rs 1.35 crore, Saturday: Rs 1.75 crore and Sunday Rs 1.85 crore), and dropped by 51 % on Monday to collect Rs 90 lakh. And on Tuesday, the film stayed steady as it added Rs 85 lakh into its kitty, thus taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 6.7 crore. The film has reportedly been produced on a budget of Rs 20 crore, including its print and publicity and it seems it will be able to recover its money, at least from its box office and non-theatrical rights sale like satellite and digital.
Manoj Bajpayee will next reprise his role as Srikant Tiwari in the highly anticipated third season of the popular web series The Family Man, which has recently gone into production. Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the show's first and second seasons were released in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
