“I love Ava,” says Wamiqa Gabbi as her film ‘Nine’ completes 2 years of its release

Malayalam film ‘Nine’ was released on 7 February 2019 and the film has completed two years of its release recently. Directed by Jenuse Mohammed, the film featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Master Vishal Krishna, and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead. As the film has clocked two, Wamiqa Gabbi has penned a note recalling her experience working with the team.
Wamiqa Gabbi played Ava, a mysterious character, the antagonist in the film and she has shared that she loved her character.
“Uff!! How I love AVA,” I love how mystical and mysterious she is. Thank you AVA for teaching me to protect what can't be lost,” the diva penned.
Wamiqa also went on to add that she was a different person prior to the shoot and it was quite an experience working with the team. “Its two years of our special film 'NINE'. Couldn't have asked for a better team. I feel like I was a different person 3 years back when I was shooting for this film with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jenuse Mohammed & Supriya Menon. Thank you team for making me a part of your journey and being a part of my journey and growth too. Learned a lot. Always grateful and thankful (sic),” Wamiqa added.

‘Nine’ was quite an experimental film, as it explored the genres of sci-fi and fantasy. The film was backed by Supriya Menon under the banner
Prithviraj Productions along with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Interestingly ‘Nine’ happens to be the first regional film to be produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, and was a huge stepping stone for Malayalam cinema.
