ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS is a support group for chemically dependent individuals striving to recover from dependency on alcohol and/or other chemical substances. AL-ANON is a support and recovery group for individuals, who were raised in dysfunctional families and/or maybe partnered with individuals with whom they are unhealthily entangled and focused upon and unable to break this pattern. Loss of self-worth, focus on exterior solutions to internal problems and continuing to try to change the unchangeable (person or circumstances) are some behavioral symptoms of co-dependency.
