    A Conservation of Energy

    a) Energy Conservation Installation of air blasters, acoustic

    measures taken horns, magnetic separators, air colling

    system for compressor house resulted in

    saving in total energy consumption as

    well as clinker quality improvement.

    Further, replacement of preheater fans

    with high efficiency fans, existing

    packing machines with high efficiency

    electronic packing machines, chain and

    bow type bucket elevators with energy

    efficient pin and bush type bucket

    elevators, screw conveyor at outlet of

    Raw Mill and Cement Mill with airslide,

    colling tower alumiium blades with

    hollow FRP blades, grinding media

    quality from hyper steel to high

    chrome, contributed to considerable

    saving in energy. Also modification of

    B52 cyclone down pipe, installation of

    new 500 TPH coal crusher, relocation

    of cyclone of Cement Mill and optimising

    air consumption has resulted in savings.
