Direct Market Access (DMA)

Direct Market Access (DMA) allows members to provide direct trading terminals to clients through various connectivity modes. Direct Market Access (DMA) is used to describe clients / investor accessing the market directly using CTCL/ATF software of a trading member and routing the orders through the trading member’s infrastructure, Members of MCX can use DMA by procuring Exchange approved DMA – CTCL / ATF software / strategies or develop in-house DMA – CTCL / ATF software / strategies after obtaining permission from the Exchange.

Eligibility:
DMA facility is being permitted only to FPI’s as specified in SEBI/Exchange circular from time to time.

 Procedure to apply for Direct Market Access (DMA) from Exchange Empanelled Vendor (ISV) [Online]

  • As per Exchange Circular No. MCX/CTCL/046/2024 dated January 24,2024, Members desirous of applying DMA – CTCL / ATF facility procured from Empanelled ISV, Members are requested to submit documents through e-mail [email protected].
  • Undertaking Annexure 13 (one time) required to be submitted in physical form to the Exchange within 10 days from approval.

    • Note:
    CTCL/IBT/WT/ATF/DMA undertaking submission is applicable for members who avail DMA facility from Empanelled vendor (ISV) for first time.
    The other provisions of circular CTCL Master Circular no. . MCX/CTCL/281/2024 dated April 30, 2024 shall continue to prevail.

  • As per Exchange Circular No. MCX/CTCL/046/2024 dated January 24,2024, Members desirous of applying In-house DMA – CTCL / ATF facility, are requested to submit documents through e-mail [email protected].
  • Undertaking Annexure 20 (one time) required to be submitted in physical form to the Exchange within 10 days from approval.

Note:
CTCL/IBT/WT/ATF/DMA undertaking submission is applicable for members who avail In-house ATF facility for first time.
The other provisions of circular CTCL Master Circular no. . MCX/CTCL/281/2024 dated April 30, 2024 shall continue to prevail.
