Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, a 42-year-old male representing the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), emerged as the triumphant candidate. He secured an impressive 70.89% of the vote share, translating to 125,213 votes. In the runner-up position stood Kondam Karuna Mahender Reddy, a 57-year-old male from the Indian National Congress (INC), with a 20.5% share of the vote, amounting to 36,204 votes.
